You should try listening to some pop/indie/acoustic stuff. Go listen to Simply Xiao, He's
an old friend and a cool dude that I met in an internet forum. He has a demo track up and some old songs. You should give it a try. You can also download his songs for free.
Also soon, he is going to release a demo under sleepy eye collective. So watch out.
